Ste Rose du Lac — Ste Rose du Lac RCMP investigate fatal collision

On July 6, 2024, at approximately 10 :00 am, Ste Rose du Lac RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 68 near Road 144N, in the RM of Alonsa. A pick-up truck going east on Highway 68, crossed the centre line and collided with a SUV going west.  Bystanders, who came across the collision, stopped and assisted the injured drivers. The driver of the truck, a 28-year-old male from Ste Rose du Lac, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

Emerson — RCMP Major Crime Services make arrest in homicide in Emerson Monday 04 March 2024 03:30 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On March 1, 2024, at approximately 7:35 pm, Emerson RCMP received a call of a deceased male inside a residence on 2nd Street in Emerson, Manitoba. Officers attended and located a 48-year-old male from the community deceased as a result of homicide. The deceased was the resident of the home. RCMP Major Crime Services investigators attended to Emerson. Investigation quickly determined this was an isolated incident and there was no risk to public safety.
