RM East St. Paul — RCMP respond to multiple-vehicle collision

On November 6, 2024, at approximately 6:30 am, Selkirk RCMP responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 59, that occurred on the bridge just south of Springhill Winter Sports Park. The initial investigation has determined that a vehicle, heading south, lost control on the bridge. This resulted in a chain reaction of collisions that involved nineteen vehicles. When officers arrived on scene, they immediately began re-routing vehicles to avoid further collisions at the site.
