Stonewall — RCMP Traffic Services traffic stop leads to seizure of loaded firearms, drugs and cash

On August 16, 2024, at approximately 2:15 pm, RCMP Traffic Services conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Highway 6 in the RM of Woodlands. The investigation led to the arrests of the driver and passenger and a subsequent search of their persons and vehicle. Officers seized a loaded handgun, rifle, ammunition, suspected crack cocaine and heroin individually bagged, approximately $10,000.00 in Canadian currency and other drug paraphernalia.
