The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance. On July 9, 2024, Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP received a report of a 16-year-old male who had left his residence and not yet returned home, despite friends saying they had seen him. RCMP have conducted patrols and checked numerous residences after people reported seeing the youth, however police have still been unable to locate Joseph Ryan McIvor and need to know that he is safe. It is believed McIvor is still in Ebb and Flow First Nation. Tags:

Black River — Powerview RCMP investigating suspicious death Monday 19 August 2024 04:30 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On August 18, 2024, at approximately 8:00 am, Powerview RCMP responded to a report of a deceased male located at a residence on Mayaa Road in the community of Black River. Officers attended and located a 43-year-old male who was pronounced deceased on scene. The cause of death remains under investigation as we await the results of the autopsy. Powerview RCMP, along with RCMP Major Crime Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate. Tags: manitoba
