Thompson — Thompson RCMP investigate two stabbings Tuesday 15 October 2024 06:45 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On October 11, 2024, at approximately 9:00 pm, Thompson RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing outside a business on Kelsey Bay in Thompson. Officers attended immediately and were able to provide first aid to the injured 33-year-old woman until Emergency Medical Services arrived. The victim was transported to local hospital, where she remains in stable condition. The investigation determined that a group of approximately four to six female youth were in the area and involved in the assault. Tags:

Thompson — Thompson RCMP looking for missing woman Tuesday 24 September 2024 06:15 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On September 11, 2024, at approximately 11:30am, Thompson RCMP received a report of a missing 44-year-old female. Carmen Chastelaine was reported missing by family after they had not heard from her after a prolonged period of time. Since being reported missing, officers have been out doing searches in and around Thompson, checking in with family, friends and places Chastelaine frequents. The investigation to date has led police to believe that she may be in the City of Winnipeg. Tags: manitoba
