RM of St. Andrews — Selkirk RCMP respond to fatal collision

On July 23, 2024, at approximately 7:45 pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle collision on Chalet Beach Road, approximately three kilometres east of Highway 9, in the RM of St. Andrews. A passerby came across a vehicle along a gravel roadway that was partially submerged in water in the ditch. Officers attended the scene. The local fire department and Emergency Medical Services were also on scene. A 69-year-old woman from the RM of Rockwood was located deceased inside the vehicle. She was the only occupant of the vehicle.
