RM of Sifton — Virden RCMP respond to fatal vehicle-tractor collision

On September 16, 2024, at approximately 9:05 am, Virden RCMP received a report of a collision between an SUV and a farm tractor on Highway 21, located just south of Provincial Road 543, in the RM of Sifton. The investigation has determined that an SUV, determined to have been stolen from Winnipeg, was travelling southbound on Highway 21, when it veered over the center line and collided head-on with a northbound farm tractor.
