Shamattawa — Shamattawa RCMP respond to collision

On July 19, 2024, at approximately 8:30 pm, Shamattawa RCMP officers were alerted by two community members, that there was a serious collision on Main Street at Hudson Bay Avenue involving a vehicle and an ATV. It was reported that several youths had sustained very serious injuries. It was determined that a vehicle with four occupants, two adults and two children, collided with an ATV, driven by a 13-year-old male, with two male passengers aged 13 and 11.
