Thompson — Thompson RCMP investigating homicide

On December 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm, Thompson RCMP were called to the report of a stabbing in the Eastwood area of Thompson. A 31-year-old male was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.  A nearby residence was identified as the scene and secured. Thompson RCMP, along with RCMP Major Crime Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate.

Hayley LABELLE was was last seen in Portage la Prairie at a convenience store located on Saskatchewan Avenue East on October 23. LABELLE is described as having a medium build, approximately 5'2" tall, 125 lbs with long brown hair and green eyes. No clothing description was provided.
