On December 10, 2024, at approximately 4:40 pm, Gimli RCMP were called to a disturbance at a residence on 4th Avenue in Gimli. When officers arrived on scene, they were advised that a 23-year-old male was in one of the back rooms of the residence and needed to be removed. When they entered the room, there were two males in the room, one of them pointing a black pistol with the laser pointer activated.
