Riverton — Gimli RCMP respond to shooting in Riverton

On July 28, 2024, at approximately 10:50 pm, Gimli RCMP received a report of shots fired at a residence located in Riverton. Officers attended and were informed that four male suspects, one of them armed with a firearm, had entered a home in Riverton where they confronted two adult males. An altercation took place resulting in the firearm being discharged.

It was believed that the victim was being held against her will at another location and was being assaulted.
