He was driving a pickup truck with emergency lights when he pulled the female over. He accused the female of speeding, but soon left the scene when asked to present identifying information. Officers did patrols to attempt to locate the described vehicle, but the vehicle was not located. Tags: manitoba

Easterville — Chemawawin RCMP investigating homicide Friday 21 June 2024 03:45 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On June 21, 2024, at approximately 2:10 am, Chemawawin RCMP responded to a report of a deceased female located in an open area in the community of Easterville.Officers attended to the location and discovered a 16-year-old female with obvious injuries who was pronounced deceased. Her death is being investigated as a homicide. RCMP have arrested a male in relation to this homicide who remains in police custody at this time. Tags: manitoba

Dakota Tipi First Nation — Portage la Prairie RCMP lay charges in abduction of 28-year-old female Wednesday 31 July 2024 03:30 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On July 25, 2024, at 10:40 am, Portage la Prairie RCMP received information via social media that a 28-year-old female had been dragged out of her residence by two females, known to the victim, and placed into an SUV. It was believed that the victim was being held against her will at another location and was being assaulted. Officers attended to Dakota Tipi First Nation and, in speaking with members of the community, were able to identify the suspect vehicle. Tags: manitoba
