RM of Springfield — Oakbank RCMP respond to four-vehicle fatal collision

On July 30, 2024, at approximately 12:35 am, Oakbank RCMP responded to a report of a multiple-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 15 and Highway 101 (South Perimeter Highway). Officers arrived on scene and noted three pickup trucks and a semi-trailer were involved. Additional officers from Beausejour, St-Pierre-Jolys, Red River North, Selkirk and the Winnipeg Police Service arrived on scene and provided assistance.

It was believed that the victim was being held against her will at another location and was being assaulted.
