Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation — Nelson House RCMP search leads to drug seizure

On June 5, 2024, as part of an ongoing investigation, Nelson House RCMP obtained a search warrant for a residence in Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation. As a result of the search, officers discovered approximately 50 grams of crack cocaine, assorted drug trafficking paraphernalia and, $2800 in cash. Two male youth are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and have been released on conditions. The investigation continues.
