On March 19, 2024, as a result of an ongoing investigation, officers from the Grand Rapids RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant at a residence, located on River Road, in Misipawistik Cree Nation.Upon entry into the home, officers arrested two suspects who were taken into police custody.As a result of the search, officers seized over 140 grams of cocaine, crack cocaine, illicit pills, cash and drug related paraphernalia.
