The Pas — The Pas RCMP investigating shooting

On December 15, 2024, at approximately 10:40 am, The Pas RCMP received a report of a shooting that occurred at an apartment complex located on Cathedral Avenue in The Pas. Officers immediately attended to the scene and located a 42-year-old male in the stairwell suffering from a gun shot wound to his lower body. Witnesses reported two male suspects fleeing the scene immediately after the shooting. The victim was transported to hospital in critical but stable condition and was later life-flighted to Winnipeg for further treatment.
