On October 8, 2024, at approximately 6:55 pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a structure fire on Ferry Road in Selkirk, Manitoba. The residence was abandoned with nobody believed to be inside. When the fire was reported, the structure was already completely engulfed. The local fire department attended to the blaze. The structure was a complete loss. There were no injuries.

Emerson — RCMP Major Crime Services make arrest in homicide in Emerson Monday 04 March 2024 03:30 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On March 1, 2024, at approximately 7:35 pm, Emerson RCMP received a call of a deceased male inside a residence on 2nd Street in Emerson, Manitoba. Officers attended and located a 48-year-old male from the community deceased as a result of homicide. The deceased was the resident of the home. RCMP Major Crime Services investigators attended to Emerson. Investigation quickly determined this was an isolated incident and there was no risk to public safety.
