Thompson — Thompson RCMP investigating two aggravated assaults over the weekend

On September 21, 2024, at approximately 12:15 am, Thompson RCMP were called to an address on Nickel Road following a report of an assault. On arrival, officers located a 56-year-old male with multiple stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital by EMS and later transported to a Winnipeg hospital where he remains in stable condition. The initial investigation has determined that a group consisting of three males and one female confronted and stabbed the victim.
