RM of Yellowhead — Hamiota RCMP theft complaint leads to the recovery of stolen property

On September 10, 2024, Hamiota RCMP, along with assistance from the Manitoba West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST), received information that a 2024 Polaris Side-by-Side, reported stolen from a cottage out at Sandy Lake, may be at a residence located on Keeseekoowenin First Nation. The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at this property where officers recovered the stolen side-by-side with trailer.
