The Pas — The Pas RCMP investigate firearm incident

On September 9, 2024, at approximately 6:50 pm, RCMP received a call of a male pointing a firearm on Dufferin Street, in The Pas.   Officers were able to determine that the suspect approached a vehicle in the parking lot of a business, pointed a handgun at the driver, grabbed a shotgun from him and took off on foot. A short time later, the male was observed climbing onto a garage by an off-duty RCMP officer. When he approached the male, the suspect took off and attempted to enter a vehicle. However, the alarm went off, and the suspect fled on foot.
