Selkirk — Selkirk RCMP arrest male in relation to five armed robberies

Between August 31, 2023 and September 15, 2023, five armed robberies occurred at two businesses in Selkirk. A male suspect entered the businesses with his face covered, produced a knife and demanded money.  A thorough investigation was undertaken by Selkirk RCMP General Investigation Section which included obtaining witnesses statements, viewing video surveillance, following up on tips and sending items to the lab for analysis.
