Selkirk — Selkirk RCMP arrest 3 after armed robbery of business

On June 28, 2024, at approximately 4:30 pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report that two males walked into a business on Manitoba Avenue in Selkirk, filled two bags with merchandise, and when confronted by employees, threatened them with a knife. Nobody was physically injured. The two male suspects then fled the store on foot, joined by a third male. Officers responded immediately and located one male walking through a nearby field. The 23-year-old from Winnipeg was arrested, and two knives and a straight blade were located on his person.
