Officers attended and located a 43-year-old male who was pronounced deceased on scene. The cause of death remains under investigation as we await the results of the autopsy. Powerview RCMP, along with RCMP Major Crime Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate. Tags: manitoba

Officers attended and were advised that a 31-year-old female, from Winnipeg, had been assaulted by a 53-year-old male, from Portage la Prairie, who was then subsequently assaulted by a 37-year-old male, from the RM of Portage la Prarie. The male is believed to have been seen walking around the fairgrounds between 10:00 and 10:30 pm that evening.
