Virden — Update - Virden RCMP investigating homicide

On May 2, 2024, RCMP Major Crime Services charged 29-year-old, Corrie Hillary Lee HART, of Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, with Manslaughter in relation to the March 6, 2024, homicide of a 64-year-old male in Sioux Valley Dakota Nation. A warrant for her arrest was obtained and, on May 3, 2024, HART was arrested with the assistance of the Brandon Police Service. HART was remanded in custody. RCMP Major Crime Services continue to investigate.
