Portage la Prairie — Portage la Prairie RCMP seize cash and drugs

On April 19, 2024, as part of an ongoing investigation, RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on 9th Street NW, in Portage la Prairie. Officers seized 647 grams of suspected crack cocaine, illicit cannabis and more than $7500 in Canadian currency. Frank Tecza, 39, has been charged with Trafficking, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
