Lac du Bonnet — Lac du Bonnet RCMP traffic stop leads to seizure of drugs

On April 23, 2024, at approximately 11:45 pm, as a result of an ongoing investigation, Lac du Bonnet RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle located on Highway 11 in the RM of Lac du Bonnet. As a result of the traffic stop, the 46-year-old female driver, from the RM of Alexander, and the 34-year-old male passenger, from Lac du Bonnet, were arrested on scene. A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of a quantity of cocaine and illegal cannabis.
