Thompson — Thompson RCMP make arrest after stabbing and forcible confinement

On March 22, 2024, at approximately 2:55 am, Thompson RCMP received a report of a disturbance at an apartment building on Copper Road in Thompson, Manitoba. When officers arrived, a male was located in the hallway of the apartment building suffering from multiple stab wounds. Officers cleared the residence and immediately provided life-saving first aid to the 22-year-old male. Emergency Medical Services arrived and transported the male to local hospital in critical condition, where he remains.
