Gimli — Update – Gimli RCMP respond to shots fired complaint

On February 29, 2024, at approximately 1:00 pm, Gimli RCMP responded to a report of a male who had discharged a firearm towards two individuals during a dispute which occurred at a residence located on Lake Avenue, in Gimli. The two victims, a 55-year-old female, from Fisher River Cree Nation, and a 27-year-old male, from Kinonjeoshtegon (Jackhead) First Nation, had left the scene and contacted police. The 28-year-old male suspect was reported to also have left the residence and his current whereabouts were unknown.

Portage la Prairie — Portage la Prairie RCMP arrest WANTED male Wednesday 31 January 2024 09:15 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On January 25, 2024, RCMP attended a residence on Oak Bay in Portage la Prairie to attempt to locate a WANTED male. The male was WANTED on two outstanding warrants for several charges including Flight from a Peace Officer, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and several weapons offences. Officers located the male and he was arrested without incident. A search resulted in the seizure of 12 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 4 grams of crack cocaine, a knife, a mask and drug paraphernalia. Tags:
