On March 20, 2024, at approximately 1:00 am, Norway House RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle located on James Apetagon Drive in the community. Officers approached the vehicle, with seven occupants, and spoke with the driver when a firearm was observed inside. As the occupants were being placed under arrest for the possession of a weapon, four male suspects fled the scene on foot. Two males (50, 25) and a female (49), all from Fairford, remained on scene and were taken into custody without incident.
