On February 29, 2024, at approximately 5:55 pm, Norway House RCMP responded to a report of an assault in progress at a residence in the community. Officers were advised that the suspect, a 34-year-old male, was armed with a weapon.   Officers attended the scene and discovered that the suspect had fled on foot. At 6:20 pm, RCMP received another call that the suspect was now at a different address and a fight had broken out.

Emerson — RCMP Major Crime Services make arrest in homicide in Emerson Monday 04 March 2024 03:30 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On March 1, 2024, at approximately 7:35 pm, Emerson RCMP received a call of a deceased male inside a residence on 2nd Street in Emerson, Manitoba. Officers attended and located a 48-year-old male from the community deceased as a result of homicide. The deceased was the resident of the home. RCMP Major Crime Services investigators attended to Emerson. Investigation quickly determined this was an isolated incident and there was no risk to public safety.
