Emerson — RCMP Major Crime Services make arrest in homicide in Emerson Monday 04 March 2024 03:30 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On March 1, 2024, at approximately 7:35 pm, Emerson RCMP received a call of a deceased male inside a residence on 2nd Street in Emerson, Manitoba. Officers attended and located a 48-year-old male from the community deceased as a result of homicide. The deceased was the resident of the home. RCMP Major Crime Services investigators attended to Emerson. Investigation quickly determined this was an isolated incident and there was no risk to public safety. Gods Lake Narrows — Gods Lake Narrows RCMP charge one youth, look for two others in arson investigation Tuesday 12 March 2024 05:15 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On March 9, 2024, at approximately 8:10 pm, Gods Lake Narrows RCMP received a report of a house on fire behind the Band Office in Gods Lake Narrows. When officers arrived on scene, the house was completely engulfed. Nobody was believed to be in the building. When the fire was out, the scene was contained and it was determined that the house had been empty when the fire broke out. Nobody was injured. It was also determined that three youths were seen in the vicinity of the house at the time the fire started. Tags:
