On March 9, 2024, at approximately 8:10 pm, Gods Lake Narrows RCMP received a report of a house on fire behind the Band Office in Gods Lake Narrows. When officers arrived on scene, the house was completely engulfed. Nobody was believed to be in the building. When the fire was out, the scene was contained and it was determined that the house had been empty when the fire broke out. Nobody was injured. It was also determined that three youths were seen in the vicinity of the house at the time the fire started.
