The Pas — The Pas RCMP investigate firearm incident Wednesday 11 September 2024 07:45 PM UTC+00 | Tags: manitoba On September 9, 2024, at approximately 6:50 pm, RCMP received a call of a male pointing a firearm on Dufferin Street, in The Pas.   Officers were able to determine that the suspect approached a vehicle in the parking lot of a business, pointed a handgun at the driver, grabbed a shotgun from him and took off on foot. A short time later, the male was observed climbing onto a garage by an off-duty RCMP officer. When he approached the male, the suspect took off and attempted to enter a vehicle. Officers attended and were advised that a 31-year-old female, from Winnipeg, had been assaulted by a 53-year-old male, from Portage la Prairie, who was then subsequently assaulted by a 37-year-old male, from the RM of Portage la Prarie.
