Thompson — Thompson RCMP investigating reports of gunshots at two locations

On September 28, 2024, at approximately 7:00 pm Thompson RCMP responded to a call of gunshots outside a residence on Duke Place. Officers responded immediately and, upon arrival, discovered a residence with a bullet hole through the window. The lone occupant of the residence was not injured. Witnesses reported seeing a male run from the area, and officers began a search for the suspect. At approximately 7:50 pm, officers responded to a second report of gunshots in the area of Brandon Crescent. Officers responded and began extensive patrols.
